Description
Thought-provoking reflections to help us grasp and live in the ‘here and now’.
Like footprints washed away in the sand, the past is gone; as for the future, it does not yet exist. What we have at our disposal is the present moment. In this series of inspiring meditations, Chiara Lubich shows us that living in the present is our way to be connected with the unlimited, eternity. Living the present moment puts us in touch, already here on earth, with heaven. ‘Everything is in God’s hands,’ she says; his will is ‘always for our good’.
‘In the light of her Christian faith and a lifetime of experience with her friends, Chiara Lubich gives us advice on how to use well the ‘here and now’. If we focus on the present moment, we are planting a seed in eternity, to be enjoyed forever.
